Rock the Run!

Welcome to the KidneyCAN Rock the Run 5k fundraising page! Lace up your running shoes and join us as we come together to make a difference in the fight against kidney cancer.

Whether you’re joining us in person at our event in Boston, MA, or participating virtually from anywhere in the world, your support will help fund vital kidney cancer research.

Together, we can rock this run, raise awareness, and bring hope to those affected by this disease. Let’s make every step count in the pursuit of a cure. Sign up today and let the fundraising journey begin!

Let’s Accelerate Cures

We’re hosting a fun 5K in Boston on July 14th at the Kidney Cancer Research Summit, but you’re invited to participate wherever you are and however you’d like!

You can sign up to raise money as an individual or team, and your hometown event can be as simple or big as you want to make it.

Maybe your local event is a neighborhood walk, a solo run, a bike ride, or a community hike. You can Rock the Run in any way that feels right to you!

The event fundraising window will close on July 25th, so you can have your event with us on July 14th or pick another day.

Whatever you choose to do, make sure you tell your friends and family about your story! Let them know why you are passionate about accelerating cures for kidney cancer!

ROCK THE RUN IN BOSTON

Rock the Run in Boston will take place at sunrise on the second day of the Kidney Cancer Research Summit. All KCRS registrants will receive a Rock the Run t-shirt and are invited to participate in this 5k.

Walkers will start at 6:00 a.m. outside the Boston Intercontinental Hotel. We’ll head through the financial district toward Beacon Hill and the iconic Boston Public Garden. We’ll loop around the park as the sun comes up and head back toward the hotel down Summer Street, for a total race distance of 5k.

Rock the Run is a fun, no-pressure event! You can join us to walk, run, or cheer and spectate.

Register as an individual, or join one of our teams captained by some of the best kidney cancer researchers in the world!

ORGANIZE A LOCAL EVENT

Rock the Run in your hometown! Show your support for kidney cancer research funding by participating from anywhere. The goal is to spread awareness of the need for kidney cancer research funding and raise money to accelerate cures.

You can structure your local Rock the Run in any way that works for you. You might pledge to do your own 5k on July14th, organize a community walk, take a family bike ride … or any other idea you can think of!

Register as an individual, or start a team with your friends and family. Tell everyone you know about your passion for this cause, and ask them to support our mission.

You can get your own Rock the Run gear as well!

Be sure to let us know what you’re working on, and we’ll amplify your efforts on social media! Thank you for Rocking the Run with us!

Thank you to Eisai for generously sponsoring this event!

Fundraise Your Way

If Rock the Run isn’t the right time or event for you, you can still support our mission.

Celebrate your special events — whether a birthday or treatment milestone — or honor a loved one with a KidneyCAN fundraiser. There are many ways you can amplify your own giving and promote the work done by the kidney cancer community.

Need help? Please reach out and let us know how we can support your efforts!
